In May 2008, Polygenyn Ltd. signed a service agreement with Concateno TrichoTech to provide a DNA testing service on their behalf. Concateno TrichoTech is the major and leading provider of drug testing using hair analysis in the UK and is accredited to ISO 17025 standards.

Polygenyn has been set up primarily to serve the local Welsh community with the aim of providing an accredited and reliable DNA testing service that is available to the general public, private and public bodies alike.

Polygenyn has a panel of in house approved DNA samplers, a highly experienced nursing team and a highly experienced panel of forensic scientists and geneticists. Samples are tested at one of the few accredited laboratories in the UK.

Our tests are carried out to the accredited ISO 17025 qualification and are checked and validated by the Ministry of Justice as an approved tester. Client confidentiality is maintained at all times.

Guido has a background in Forensic Science and has worked for several years in a busy paternity testing laboratory in London. He has obtained a PhD. in Genetics and has been running his own business for the past 7 years.

Rachel has always been passionate about nursing, specialising in Accident & Emergency and Intensive Care Medicine. Rachel has been putting back into our local community all she has learnt while teaching Biology to nurses all over the UK and working as a practice Nurse at a local GPs Surgery.
